Jim Gaffigan doesn't regret a 2020 tweet in which he called Donald Trump "a liar and a criminal," despite losing some Trump supporters as fans.
“For me, I don’t regret it, but I also do acknowledge that there are true die-hard Trump fans who probably enjoyed my comedy, but because they feel so passionately will never forgive me. “As a kid I was a cubs fan and I know you stick by your team no matter what but he’s a traitor and a con man who doesn’t care about you. Gaffigan’s podcast appearance comes after he portrayed Walz earlier this season on SNL, alongside Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris, Dana Carvey as Joe Biden and Andy Samberg as Doug Emhoff.
