'Rebel Moon - Part Two' EP features original songs by Jessie Reyez, Tainy, aespa, Tokischa, TOKiMONSTA & more, inspired by Netflix movie characters.
Rebel Moon – Songs of the Rebellion is due out on April 5, with tracks from Jessie Reyez, Tainy, Tokischa, TOKiMONSTA, aespa, Black Coffee and Kordhell. “After being given the chance to watch the movie before it was out, it was very easy to connect the dots backwards and see myself in Kora” Reyez said in a statement in reference to the series’ main character, Kora/Arthelais, who leads fighters from across the galaxy in a battle against the oppressive Motherworld. “The artists’ rebellious personal touches on each single create a compelling sonic journey throughout the EP, curated to the film’s characters and emotions of strength, resilience, and empowerment,” the release said.
