Jessie J shared her journey with an early breast cancer diagnosis, highlighting the challenges while maintaining her signature humor and honesty
Jessie, who is mother to son, Sky, 2, whom she shares with boyfriend Chanan Colman, added a final line that nodded to her trademark humor. Posting an Instagram video of herself singing on stage when she was younger, she explained that bringing her child into the world “exposed” her disorders “a lot more,” Jessie also noted that the diagnoses proved “comforting” as she leaned into motherhood. “ADHD has such a wide spectrum, it’s like a mystery putting your version of it together, that’s how it’s felt for me,” Jessie continued, further explaining that she was able to understand how “to cope, excel and grow” with her newfound conditions.
