Jessica Simpson, 43, snuggles up with mini-me daughter Birdie, five, in new selfie

For the photo, the mother-daughter duo leaned in close, with Jessica playfully sticking her tongue out for the camera and Birdie smiling.

Jessica —who shares her kids with longtime husband and former NFL star Eric Johnson — uploaded a sweet selfie with Birdie to her Instagram on Saturday. During an interview late last year, The Dukes Of Hazzard starlet revealed she planned to release her next album in the early part of 2024 that would be followed by a tour in support of her new music. The Abilene, Texas native, who began performing in church choirs as a child, got a record deal back when she was 17, leading to her debut, Sweet Kisses (1999), which peaked at number 25 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, en route to selling more than two million copies.
