Jessica Simpson is opening up about writing her EP Nashville Canyon, Part 1 in the midst of her separation from Eric Johnson. Simpson, 44, took to Instagram on Monday, December 16, to share a sultry photo of herself leaning back in a chair in a room filled with recording equipment. According to Simpson, Nashville Canyon, Part 1 “is a feeling.” She had written the record about her separation from husband Eric Johnson after a decade of marriage.
