Jessica Simpson and estranged husband Eric Johnson ’s marriage may be slowly coming to an end, but that isn’t keeping their relationship status off of a positive path. Earlier this month, the Dukes of Hazzard actress’ younger sister, Ashlee Simpson Ross, told Us Weekly that Jessica was in the “ best, best spirits ” despite announcing her separation from Eric after 10 years of marriage. The insider also dished about Jessica’s upcoming EP, noting, “She’s hoping it’s a comeback, but Eric’s pretty private, so it’s doubtful he’ll like being a part of that.”
