Jessica Simpson Drops 1st New Song in Nearly 15 Years: ‘It’s Go Time’
Jessica Simpson released her first new single in more than a decade and announced a new EP called ‘Nashville Canyon’
“Music makes you un-become to become, and through this process my soul has been pulled to the very place it belongs,” Simpson wrote via Instagram alongside the single’s cover art. Cowritten with Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen, Ashley Ray and Joe Ginsberg, “Use My Heart Against Me” has a more bluesy feel than any of Simpson’s past music. My kids supported that gift,” Jessica, 44, shared in an interview with her sister, Ashlee Simpson, for The Cut published on Thursday, February 20.
