Jessica Chastain & Adam Driver Star In ‘The Dealer’ Drama Series Ordered By Apple From Media Res
In a competitive situation, Apple TV+ has landed The Dealer, a drama starring Jessica Chastain and Adam Driver, with a straight-to-series order.
Also executive producing The Dealer are Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer for Media Res, Chastain and Kelly Carmichael for Freckle Films, Driver and Alan Poul ( Six Feet Under). After a bidding war, its Silicon Valley thriller Thumblite, starring Rosamund Pike, landed at Netflix in September with a straight-to-series order. It earned Gold and Hnath Tony nominations in 2017, with its star Laurie Metcalf winning the award for Actress in a Leading Role in a Play.
