Jessica Alba Steps Down From Honest Company Role: 'This Journey Has Been the Ride of a Lifetime'

While signing off from her role, Jessica Alba said building The Honest Company 'has been a true labor of love.'

From the first concept book I pitched to my friends in Mommy and Me class, to ringing the bell at Nasdaq with my family by my side - this journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams," she wrote. The 42-year-old star, who rose to fame in Hollywood with roles in Honey, Fantastic Four, and Sin City, did not disclose the reason for her stepping down, but praised employees and customers alike for what they've done for the company, which was reportedly valued at more than $1 billion back in 2015. Meanwhile, her husband of nearly 16 years, Cash Warren, left a straightforward message for his longtime other half: five red heart emojis, perhaps a symbol of the five members of their family, including daughters Honor and Haven, and son Hayes.
