Jessica Alba announces she is stepping down from leadership position at The Honest Company after founding company 12 years ago

After being in the leadership role and founding the company 12 years ago, the actress shared that she will be stepping down.

The Honey star — who was seen on a rare outing with her daughters Honor, 15, and Haven, 12, in Los Angeles last month — shared a carousel with photos led by a throwback picture of herself in a warehouse, sitting atop pallets of boxes, from when she founded her company in 2011. 'While there would never have been an easy time to make this decision, I know we have a leadership team in place with Carla Vernón at the helm to advance our founding vision and strengthen Honest’s legacy as an industry change-maker,' she continued. From the first concept book I pitched to my friends in Mommy and Me class, to ringing the bell at Nasdaq with my family by my side — this journey has been the ride of a lifetime, one that only existed in my wildest dreams,' she added.
