Jesse Garcia & Jess Weixler To Topline Crime Thriller ‘Tender’
Jesse Garcia and Jess Weixler are set to topline 'Tender,' an indie crime thriller from writer-director Adam Hoelzel.
Written and directed by Adam Hoelzel( Beast of Burden), the film centers on a couple struggling with a failing marriage and mounting debts that stumbles upon a hidden fortune of gold within the walls of their home, leading them to concoct a risky plan to sell it and solve their financial troubles. Others in the cast include Robert Longstreet ( Sorry to Bother You), Shakira Barrera ( GLOW), Mark St. Cyr ( The Menu), Sonja O’Hara ( Mid-Century), Keli Price ( Murder at Hollow Creek), Stephen Ellis ( Hail, Caesar! On the film side, Wexler’s credits include Ava opposite Jessica Chastain, It Chapter Two, The Death of Dick Long from Everything Everywhere Oscar winner Daniel Scheinert, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, the indie body horror Teeth and more.
