Jerry Springer's exclusion from the In Memoriam segment on Monday evening's broadcast of the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards was 'very sad,' his rep said Tuesday Emmys producer Jesse Collins, speaking on Tuesday with Entertainment Tonight, called curating the fast-paced In Memoriam segment 'one of the hardest parts of the show.' Fans of late actor Ray Stevenson - who appeared on shows such as Ahsoka, Dexter Vikings and Rome - also expressed their surprise when he was not featured in the segment in the wake of his death last May at the age of 58.
