Jerry Seinfeld Reveals An ‘Unfrosted’ Chris Rock Oscars Parody That Never Happened
'Unfrosted' almost had a scene featuring a moment torn from the 2022 Oscars.
Seinfeld originally asked Chris Rock to host his movie’s faux awards show. The idea was to give Rock a moment of redemption from the infamous Will Smith Oscars attack on him. “The other thing I wanted to do, that I almost did, was Chris Rock was gonna be the emcee of the Bowl and Spoon Awards,” Seinfeld said on Dana Carvey and David Spade’s Fly on the Wall podcast.
