Former The One Show star Jermaine Jenas has made a public apology to his wife Ellie Penfold following his sexting scandal that saw his contract with the BBC come to an end

Jermaine, who was a fixture on The One Show and a Match of the Day analyst, was dismissed from the BBC in August following accusations that he sent unsolicited inappropriate messages to a female staff member. Despite the sexting scandal, the couple remain together, and at the weekend, Jermaine publicly supported her as she launched her new business, Preppy Skin - a skincare brand aimed for those under 16.
