Former One Show host Jermaine Jenas has broken his silence on the text scandal that led to his BBC sacking, admitting that he is 'ashamed' of his behaviour
It was announced this week that the former professional footballer had been axed from The One Show and Match of the Day following a report of alleged 'inappropriate behaviour' in the workplace. News of Jermaine's sacking from The One Show came out on Wednesday, August 23 (Image: BBC) "I have let myself down, my family, friends and colleagues down, and I owe everyone an apology — especially the women with whom I was messaging. He revealed that before the news broke, he had visited his doctor to discuss his issues, and was booked in for therapy to address them, and work out "where they stem from, and why I have been doing this and hurting the people I love".
