Jermaine Jenas delivers personal message to two women he was texting before BBC sacking
Jermaine Jenas has said he is "ashamed" and "deeply sorry" after he was sacked by the BBC over claims he sent inappropriate messages to two female colleagues
He also addressed the accusations head-on, saying, "I don't want to start going down the 'who pursued who' road, but when people are saying things that are wrong and false information is being spread, I do have to kind of defend my space." He revealed he was dismissed by the BBC on Monday, just five days after a HR consultation process began in which he was presented with a series of messages he allegedly sent to two colleagues on The One Show. During his football career, he represented England and played for Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers.
