Jermaine Jenas 'speaking to lawyers' over sacking from the BBC's One Show

Former England footballer Jermaine Jenas, who co-hosted The One Show and Match Of The Day at the BBC, said he is "not happy" about his sacking and he will be speaking to his lawyers about it

The former Premier League player, who was a co-host on The One Show and Match Of The Day at the BBC, expressed his dissatisfaction with his dismissal and revealed he will be consulting his lawyers about the situation. He also refrained from commenting when asked about ongoing legal proceedings, his future in sports presenting or the industry as a whole, or whether he felt the need to apologise to anyone regarding his departure from the BBC. BBC chief content officer Charlotte Moore has acknowledged the awareness of these issues but could not provide "no more information", as stated upon being approached by PA after her engagement in a panel at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
