Jermaine Jenas 'secretly investigated' by BBC over inappropriate texts before shock sacking

TV presenter Jermaine Jenas reportedly had a "dossier" of evidence compiled against him by BBC bosses before he was sacked from his role as a presenter on Match of the Day

It's claimed the BBC intended to "investigate thoroughly" upon discovering that Jermaine had reportedly sent inappropriate messages to a colleague. The former professional footballer was on holiday with wife Ellie Penfold and their children when he was axed from his roles at Match Of The Day and The One Show during a £190,000-a-year contract via video call. The source also alleged that female staff members are furious at Jermain’s bid to defend himself, with the star claiming that the text messages were between "consenting adults", reports the Mirror.
