Jermaine Fowler will star opposite Tracy Morgan in the upcoming Paramount+ multi-cam comedy series “Crutch,” Variety has learned. He is described as “an Ivy League educated lawyer who forgoes a high-paying position at a swanky, white shoe law firm to provide low-cost legal aid in Harlem.” His other TV credits include the FX limited series “A Murder at the End of the World” and the truTV sketch comedy series “Friends of the People.” He has starred in films like “Coming 2 America,” “Sorry to Bother You,” “Judas and the Black Messiah,” and “Ricky Stanicky.” Fowler is also an accomplished stand up comedian and released the Showtime stand up special, “Give ‘Em Hell, Kid,” in 2015.
