Jermaine Dupri is slated to DJ at Variety's inaugural Grammy Cover Party honoring Victoria Monét.
Monét, who will receive a special award during the evening, is up for seven Grammys including best new artist and record of the year for “On My Mama” after releasing her breakthrough debut album “Jaguar II” in August. “We are so excited to band together with Variety in honoring the multi-talented singer-songwriter Victoria Monét ahead of her well-deserved seven nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards,” said Ole Obermann, Global Head of Music Business Development, TikTok. “From the #OnMyMamaChallenge to Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish feeding Barbie mania to GRWM videos soundtracked by SZA’s ‘Kill Bill,’ the TikTok community’s power to fuel certified hits and turn songs into culture-defining trends is on full display as we remain the go-to place for music discovery.”
