Jeremy Strong Gets Opportunity to Take Something Very Seriously

Four of the past five Palme winners were nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars (with two winning), encouraging larger audiences to see non-English-language films like Anatomy of a Fall and Parasite. She’ll be joined by a slew of notables from across the film world: American actors Strong and Halle Berry, Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia ( All We Imagine As Light), Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher ( I Am Love), and the French Moroccan writer Leïla Slimani ( Adèle). Tribeca Festival founder Robert De Niro will be winning an honorary Palme d’Or across the pond this year, as confirmed on April 7.
