Jeremy Strong Coaches Sebastian Stan’s Donald Trump on Speaking With the Press in ‘The Apprentice’ Clip

The new look at Ali Abbasi's biopic on the business tycoon turned president's origins shows Strong's Roy Cohn molding Stan's Trump into the man he would become.

In a new clip from The Apprentice, Ali Abbasi’s biopic on the rise of Donald Trump, Roy Cohn ( Jeremy Strong) coaches the aspiring tycoon (portrayed by Sebastian Stan) on speaking with the press. Unhappy with Trump’s additional answers, Cohn grabs the phone and tells the reporter they’ll have to do the rest of the interview in person. The clip comes as filmmakers have launched a Kickstarter campaign designed to “lend additional support in order to keep the film in as many theaters as possible for as long as possible,” according to Tuesday’s announcement.
