Jeremy Renner Says Robert Downey Jr. Kept His Spirits Up During Accident Recovery
The two friends had a lot of time to talk in the aftermath of Renner's snowplow accident.
In an interview with People, Renner joked that the Oscar-winning actor’s FaceTime calls felt “like we were dating or something.” Renner said Downey Jr. said he and his wife were also big fans of Mayor Of Kingstown, so he wanted him to get well he could continue to work on the program. The two friends have costarred as Hawkeye and Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including in the Avengers film series.
