Jeremy Renner is opening up about the reason behind Hawkeye not getting a second season.
The actor has played the titular avenger across the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reprised his role in the Disney+ miniseries opposite Hailee Steinfeld. In a new interview, Renner said he was offered “half” of his salary from the first season to continue playing Clint Barton. Renner suggested that his salary was slashed in half due to his near-fatal accident in 2023.
