Jeremy Kyle breaks silence after inquest verdict as former ITV star hits out at 'lies, false accusations and unfair criticism'
Jeremy Kyle has broken his silence after an inquest ruled there was no link between Steve Dymond's death and the show, which happened weeks after the recording took place
"Out of respect for the family of Mr Dymond and the judicial process, Jeremy has always maintained that it would be inappropriate to discuss details whilst the legal inquest was ongoing and he has remained steadfastly silent in the face of lies, false accusations and unfair criticism over the last 5 1/2 years," reports the Mirror. During the Winchester inquest, it came to light that Steve faced jeers from the audience after he failed a lie detector test, indicating that he may have been dishonest about not cheating on his partner Jane Callaghan. Various clips from the controversial show were presented to the court, including one where Jeremy is seen admonishing Steve with the words: "Be a man, grow a pair of balls and tell her the goddam truth."
