Fans of the American gameshow Jeopardy! took to social media to write about their anger over an episode where a contestant missed out on a huge cash prize after inconsistencies
Host Ken Jennings presented the contestants with the clue: "Captured in Egypt by the British Army 1801" is painted on the side of this artifact named for the city where it was found. Frustration and debate erupted on social media after a contestant on Jeopardy faced inconsistency with the quiz show's answers. One viewer sympathised, writing: "I'm not even a stickler for full answers, but at least be consistent, poor Terry lost 6 grand on the decision of jeopardy to be inconsistent tonight."
