Jennifer Love Hewitt closes deal to star in 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Sequel
Hewitt announced the news on social media and joins her former co-star Freddie Prinze Jr. along with new castmembers Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Haur-King. The original film follows four young friends (played by Prinze Jr., Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe) bound by a tragic accident who are reunited when they find themselves being stalked by a hook-wielding maniac in their small seaside town. She starred in, executive-produced and directed several episodes of the hit network series Ghost Whisperer, which ran for five seasons, and starred in and executive-produced the hit cable film The Client List, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
