Jennifer Lopez's new Rebound music video hints at a past abusive relationship as a muscular man hits and strangles her before she escapes


Jennifer Lopez released an extended edit of her Rebound music video on Wednesday. It depicts dramatic scenes of domestic violence, inspired by her past romances.

The visualizer was directed by Dave Meyers and portrays dramatic scenes of violence inspired by the New York native's past abusive relationship. The video, which was filmed in Jennifer's home studio, toggles between passion and torment as a couple acts out choreographed sequences blending dance and destruction. This Is Me... Now is her fourth number one streamed film followed by Marry Me (on Peacock), Shotgun Wedding (on Amazon Prime), and The Mother (on Netflix).
