Jennifer Lopez's Met Gala manicure was the perfect way to give the 'clean girl' nail trend a little upgrade for spring, and her manicurist shared the exact products he used to create the look
He shared: "Like a butterfly transforming in a shimmery chrysalis, I encased Jen's polished natural nail in a translucent pearl cocoon." To achieve the cocoon-style look, he used CND's clear coffin-shaped nail tips, which unfortunately aren't available in the UK at the moment. He painted the combo directly onto her nail beds, extending it only slightly onto the tips and leaving the rest completely transparent to give that see-through effect, before applying several layers of clear top coat to create a smooth transition from nail bed to tip.
