Robles served as a producer on the project and stepped in as Jerome’s stunt double to perform the more complex wrestling moves. The star athlete has come full circle - returning to his alma mater, Mesa High School, where he was hired as the head wrestling coach in March 2022. Jerome, 26, who starred in the Emmy winning series When They See Us, told Vanity Fair, 'I think it’s so special when an actor gets to portray a real-life person, the challenges that come with that and the justice.'
