Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are working to "put the kids first," as they navigate their recent marriage strain, a source exclusively tells PEOPLE on Friday, May 31.
Despite the recent strain in their marriage, a source tells PEOPLE that the couple “still want to put the kids first,” and adds, "Jennifer and Ben have always been very family-oriented.” Affleck, 51, has Violet, 18, as well as Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 51, while Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Maximilian "Max" David and Emme Maribel with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez remains in the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion they bought last year, and Affleck is residing in a rental home a few miles away.
