Jennifer Lawrence will produce and star in A24's 'Why Don't You Love Me?,' adapted from Paul B. Rainey's darkly comedic graphic novel.

It was announced on Tuesday that the Academy Award winner, 33, will team up with A24 to produce and star in Why Don't You Love Me?, a film adaptation of Paul B. Rainey’s 2023 graphic novel of the same name. is a dark comedy that follows a miserable couple, Claire and Mark, "struggling through their marriage while feeling like something is not quite right in their reality," teased A24. The graphic novel with a sci-fi twist has been described as "a pitch-black comedy about marriage, alcoholism, depression, and mourning lost opportunities."
