Jennifer Hudson spoke to Jimmy Kimmel about going public with her relationship with Common, joking, 'I thought he was dating Whoopi Goldberg?' after the rapper mentioned her EGOT status.

During an appearance on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hudson was asked about her and Common seemingly going public with their relationship on her talk show last month. As Kimmel, 56, pointed out viewers eventually realized they were talking about each other, Hudson joked on his show, "Is that what you gathered because I thought he was dating Whoopi Goldberg?" The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2022 when they worked together on their upcoming film Breathe, in which Hudson stars as Maya and Common plays Darius.
