Jennifer Hudson And Orville Peck To Receive Honorary GLAAD Media Awards At NYC Ceremony

Jennifer Hudson and country singer Orville Peck will be honored with special awards at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards ceremony May 11 in New York.

The evening will also see 17 remaining GLAAD Media Awards handed out after a portion were announced during t he Los Angeles ceremony in March hosted by Wayne Brady. Hudson joins recent previous winners including Maren Morris, Judith Light, Ava DuVernay, Patti LaBelle and Debra Messing. GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said Peck “paved a new frontier for artists in a genre historically exclusionary of queer voices.”
