The actress had been at San Diego Comic-Con to help with the promotional push for the new Deadpool & Wolverine film by attending the panel event with other stars like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman the day before her scary situation surfaced. Garner, who reprises her role as Elektra in Deadpool & Wolverine, was joined the stage that featured the likes of Ryan Reynolds, director Shawn Levy, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Dafne Keen, Chris Evans, Channing Tatum, and Wesley Snipes.
