Jennifer Coolidge congratulates Ariana Grande on her first Oscar nomination for Wicked
Wicked was one of the biggest winners when the Oscar nominations were announced with 10 nominations, one of which was the first for Ariana Grande.
The musical has taken in over $710 million at the worldwide box office and will now be vying for Best Picture as well, with Grande's co-star Cynthia Erivo earning her third nomination. She'll be vying for the statuette against Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) and Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Perez). 'I’m humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered,' she added.
