Jennifer Aniston voices the inner monologue of a nonverbal middle school girl in new film Out of My Mind

Jennifer Aniston has taken on a fun new role as the inner monologue of a middle school student named Melody Brooks who is nonverbal and has cerebral palsy in Out of My Mind.

Making the movie had 'a profound impact on my life in so many ways, the most pronounced being that it has expanded my comprehension of humanity and our capacities for empathy, connection and growth,' director Amber Sealey told People. 'I hope people take away from this film that there are endless ways to communicate with each other, but we’ll never get to better understanding until and unless we make the time to stop, wait and listen – and value what we discover as a result,' Sealey said. Out of My Mind also stars Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Kirby, Michael Chernus, Courtney Taylor and Judith Light and is available to stream on Disney+ on November 22.
