Jennifer Aniston is set to produce a 'reimagining' of the workplace comedy classic 9 To 5 written by Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody
Aniston will produce a remake of the 1980 classic, which starred Jane Fonda, Lilly Tomlin and Dolly Parton in her feature film acting debut.
The workplace satire starred the high-powered trio of Jane Fonda, her future Grace And Frankie costar Lily Tomlin and country superstar Dolly Parton, who made her feature film acting debut. Tomlin played a senior supervisor at the company who has been passed over in favor of less-qualified male co-workers, while Parton made her debut as a bubbly secretary who is shunned by her colleagues after her sexual harasser boss (Dabney Coleman) makes up a workplace rumor that he has been having an affair with her. Aniston has lately produced her two Murdery Mystery films with Adam Sandler, along with Apple TV+'s The Morning Show and the popular Friends reunion; pictured April 12 in Hollywood
