Jenna Ortega has appeared in many movies and tv shows before her work with Tim Burton began.
Before starring in Netflix’s tentpole Wednesday, Ortega appeared in You as main character Ellie Alves in the second season of the slasher series about serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). In the Netflix family film Yes Day(2021), Ortega played the eldest daughter of Allison (Jennifer Garner) and Carlos Torres (Edgar Ramirez) — Katie. In X(2022), the first film of a trilogy directed by Ti West and starring Mia Goth, Ortega played Lorraine, a member of a group of young filmmakers whose elderly host catches them making a movie on a rural Texas farm.
