Jenna Ortega weighs in on gender-swapping in casting: 'I don't want to see "Jamie Bond"'


The 21-year-old Emmy nominee was clearly referring to Lashana Lynch, whose MI6 agent character Nomi took over as 007 in Cary Joji Fukunaga's 2021 film No Time to Die

Original stars Michael Keaton and Catherine O'Hara also reprise their roles from the 1988 blockbuster alongside newcomers Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, and Danny DeVito. Season two of Alfred Gough and Miles Millar's Addams Family spin-off will also feature Heather Matarazzo, Steve Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O'Connor, and Haley Joel Osment. Ortega's other upcoming projects include Paramount+ romantic drama Winter Spring Summer or Fall, A24 black comedy Death of a Unicorn, and Sony Pictures' sci-fi film Klara and the Sun directed by Taika Waititi.
