Jenna Ortega says everybody in Hollywood wants to be ‘politically correct’ but that ‘lacks honesty’ | "I wish that we had a better sense of conversation. Imagine if everyone could say what they felt and not be judged for it"

Jenna Ortega has opened up about Hollywood and politics and how always being "politically correct" can "lack honesty".

“Everybody wants to be politically correct, but I feel like, in doing that, we lose a lot of our humanity and integrity, because it lacks honesty.” Last November, Barrera was dropped from her role as Sam Carpenter in the Scream franchise after the film’s production company Spyglass Media felt that her posts on social media had the potential to be perceived as anti-Semitic. In a statement shared with Variety at the time, Spyglass media said: “Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.”
