Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier on the red carpet, Ortega revealed that her dress took approximately 600 hours to make because it was handsewn. Wednesday, which is adapted from The Addams Family franchise, scored 12 total nominations, including one for Outstanding Comedy Series and a directing nod for Tim Burton, who is also a first-time Emmy nominee. The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, originally set to take place last September, was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
