On the latest episode of Today with Jenna and Friends, the former first daughter, 43, and the journalist, 53, spoke about Guthrie's newly released children's book Mostly What God Does is Love You. "I want to weep because I’ve known Vale-y every day since she was born, many of us have, but also I’m so lucky to be her godmother," Bush Hager said. "I've never said this before, but Savannah is Hal's godmother," said the morning news anchor, who welcomed her son in August 2019 with husband Henry Hager.
