Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb Angrily Slam Golden Globes on ‘Today’ for Snub: ‘Very Disappointed’
Today's Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb were upset over Jon Chu's snub from the Best Director category after the 2025 Golden Globe nominations were announced.
“And this is what is on our jangly, the bad news that we’re very disappointed about is Jon Chu, who is the director of Wicked, and the amount of work he had to do to make that so incredible was not nominated,” Jenna added. The nominees for Best Director of a Motion Picture at the 2025 Golden Globes include Jacques Audiard for Emilia Pérez, Sean Baker for Anora, Edward Berger for Conclave, Brady Corbet for The Brutalist, Coralie Fargeat for The Substance and Payal Kapadia for All We Imagine as Light. Josh Brolin, who starred in Dune: Part Two said that if Denis, 57, does not get nominated for an Oscar for directing the film, he would quit show business.
