Jenn Lyon Lands Lead In NBC Comedy Pilot ‘Stumble’

Jenn Lyon (Claws) has been cast as the lead of Stumble, Jeff Astrof and Liz Astrof's single-camera comedy pilot for NBC.

Underlining just how tight the job market is post-peak TV with well-paying series regular role opportunities few and far between, there were six well known actresses who tested for the part, I hear. Written by the Astrof siblings in their first collaboration, Stumble is a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes competitive world of junior college cheer. Lyon’s Broadway credits include Tom Stoppard’s Tony Award-winning The Coast of Utopia and Larry David’s Fish in the Dark.
