Jeff Bridges Was Not ‘Fond of' His CGI 'Tron: Legacy' Appearance: 'I Looked More Like Bill Maher Than Myself'

Jeff Bridges got candid about his de-aged appearance in 2010’s ‘Tron: Legacy’ in an interview on Josh Horowitz’s 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast: 'I wasn’t particularly fond of that recreation of myself. I thought I looked more like Bill Maher than myself.'

After leading 1982 sci-fi classic Tron, the 74-year-old actor reprised his role as video game programmer Kevin Flynn in the 2010 sequel starring Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde. But a de-aged version of himself as another character, Clu (Codified Likeness Utility), resembled Bill Maher, he recently said on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast. The Joseph Kosinski-directed Tron: Legacy continued the story of Kevin Flynn, who in the original film was transported into a video game of his own design.
