Jeezy Clarifies Request for Custody of Daughter Monaco Amid Jeannie Mai Divorce
In legal documents obtained by ET, the rapper is seeking a new custody arrangement for his 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.
The legal divorce battle between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai is getting more complicated, as the rapper filed new court documents to clarify his request regarding custody of the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Monaco. In court docs filed April 16 in Fulton County, Georgia, obtained by ET on Thursday, Jeezy -- real name Jay Wayne Jenkins -- is seeking to "share joint legal custody and joint physical custody of the minor child and that the specific parenting time schedule be determined by the Court consistent with the best interest of the minor child." In court documents filed in December, Jeannie voiced her own safety concerns for Monaco's care, regarding Jeezy's possession of firearms, which she claimed have been "unsecured in the past."
