Jean-Claude Van Damme Sex Trafficking Claims Are ‘Absurd,’ Agent Says


Criminal charges were reportedly filed against Jean-Claude Van Damme in Romania following an alleged incident in France

News broke on Tuesday, April 1, that a criminal complaint was filed with the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) against the actor, according to CNN affiliate Antena 3. The reported complaint alleged that Van Damme, 64, knowingly engaged in sexual relations with women who were being sex trafficked by Morel Bolea ’s criminal group. The New York Times and the New Yorker first published investigative pieces in 2017 that accused disgruntled movie producer Harvey Weinstein of decades of sexual assault and harassment.
