Jean Smart amid LA Wildfires has urged TV networks to donate awards show revenue to help firefighters and fire victims

Hacks actress Jean Smart has called on networks set to televise upcoming awards shows to forego the telecasts and instead donate the revenue to victims and firefighters affected by the L.A. wildfires. Smart is coming off the back of winning the Golden Globe for Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy for her performance in the third season of the HBO series, which has currently paused production due to the wildfires raging in Los Angeles. Hacks, for which Smart has won three Emmys, is one of a ream of shows that have paused production amid the fires.
