Jayme Lawson Latest To Join Edgar Wright’s Paramount Adaptation Of ‘The Running Man’
'The Running Man' has tapped Jayme Lawson for a role opposite Glen Powell in the Paramount adaptation from filmmaker Edgar Wright.
Others starring, as previously announced, include Josh Brolin, Karl Glusman, Katy O’Brian, Daniel Ezra, and Lee Pace. The story follows Ben Richards as he volunteers to participate in a deadly game show called The Running Man, which will see him hunted by professional killers over the course of 30 days. A Juilliard grad who played a young Michelle Obama in Showtime’s The First Lady, also previously starring in National Geographic’s Genius: MLK/X, the actress is repped by UTA, 2AM, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer.
